Modern interpretation of 16th century style
This was a dress I made for A level coursework which was inspired by Elizabethan silhouettes and adornments, made with modern fabrics and modern embellishments whilst reflecting the open petticoat and square neckline of past centuries. Complete with a crisp white tudor ruff.
This piece was entered into the east Cambridgeshire schools art competition by my school (Kings Ely) and it won the second prize.
